DMWR contacted Cadplan for an interesting project to survey a hotel that is in a transitional stage. The Cavatina Point Project has been underway for a few years however construction had been halted.
After this initial downtime the owners are now wanting to proceed with the completion of the hotel that will be windowless. The project needed a range of accurate floor plans and cross sections delivered promptly to work from at this mid construction point.
Cadplan's building surveyors were tasked with 3d laser scanning 3 floors and were on site for 5 days taking nearly 650 scans of the site that will include 110 bedrooms. The CAD department used the resultant point cloud data to deliver all drawings within one week after scanning.
