Cadplan create 3D Revit Model for sustainable redevelopment of Templar House

Cadplan were asked by Astudios to carry out a measured building survey for Transport For London and create a 3D Revit Model for Templar House on High Holborn Street which is undergoing plans for sustainable redevelopment.

Our surveyors were on site for 13 days collecting upwards of 1500 scans. Once processed, the scans were useed to create a 3d revit model. From this model we extracted all floor and roof plans, all external elevations and four sectional elevations.

Transport for London have a proposed plan to replace the existing office building with a two-part development, a new 12 storey commercial building on High Holborn Street compromising of 120000 sqft of office floor space. There will also be a 15-storey residential building compromising a total of 46 residential units accessed from a narrow street to the rear. These buildings will be highly insulated are have been designed to work together in terms of sustainable energy use. Finally their will also be new improvements to the public realm, landscaping, cycling parking and bin storage.

For more information on how this development will be using sustainable energy please check out Astudios website.
