Formerly a private house built in the early seventeenth century and known as ‘Black Hall’ it was taken over by the University in the 1940’s and used as a residential centre for Commonwealth Studies. It is a grade II listed building and the University asked Cadplan to complete a full Land and Building survey for a refurbishment in 2003.
